Germany is the world’s fifth-largest market for computer and video games. In order to achieve international competitiveness for the national games industry the German government has introduced a federal games funding programme. Since the end of September 2020 games companies can submit applications for funding to the Federal Ministry of Transport and Digital Infrastructure (BMVI). In the workshop, which is aimed at an international audience, Ina Göring (Senior Manager Funding at game) will introduce you to the programme, summarize the key facts for you and answer your questions regarding how the funding could work for international companies interested in opening game studios or business premises in Germany or publishers who are interested in working with German studios.
AudienceRecommended for everyone who wants to learn more about the federal games funding programme and, of course, international companies / their representatives interested in opening game studios or business premises in Germany.
